Why My Clients Choose Me

I relocated permanently to Central Texas in 2016 after working all over the country providing services as a clinical social worker. I worked for the nonprofit, state and federal government and have a wide variety of experience.

I realize asking for help and working on yourself can be an intimidating and even scary process. I have the skills, training, education and experience to help you get control of your life back and feel empowered.

Why I Do This Work

Choosing therapy is an act of courage. I want to help guide you and empower you through this journey.

I specialize as a trauma therapist, specifically working with clients with domestic violence and sexual assault history. I also have a strong background working with law enforcement, military families, and families in crisis.

Who I Help

My ideal client is any person wanting to work on themselves, regardless of what brought you here. I have spent much of my career working with law enforcement, first responders, and Veterans who need results fast.

I help children, teenagers, and adults who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and trauma to heal and grow. I believe you have the power to decide how you want to live your life. I’m looking forward to the opportunity and privilege to work with you.

How I Help

Working through what happened gives you your voice back. It gives you ownership over your experience. You get control of your life back.

I’m here to listen without judgment and to teach you or your child to manage the emotions that come with treatment. I help my clients explore how the trauma has impacted their lives. I help the whole family to heal. While you can’t control what happened, you can control yourself and your life going forward.

I believe in using therapy techniques proven to work. I became a therapist because I want to help people feel strong again. I believe I have the skills, the training and the education to be able to help people live their best lives.

To that end, I practice and train at the top of my license. Some of the modalities I’m trained in and have successfully treated individuals are:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Crisis intervention
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PET)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
