Are You Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired?

We Get It: Starting Counseling Is Hard

There are many reasons why not to start therapy. It’s scary. It’s expensive. It takes too much time. But ultimately, if you are not feeling better naturally, procrastinating the start of counseling can make you downright sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.

Here’s the deal. If you never heal what’s stuck, you’ll keep going like you’ve been going all along. Nothing will change. You might even feel worse over time. Your body might start breaking down from the stress. It’s common for unresolved trauma to result in things like chronic migraines, decreased immune function, and even shortened life span. Yikes. Talk about sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!

What You Need To Stop Procrastinating

Don’t worry though, counseling doesn’t always have to be torture. In fact, if you find a good fit and trust the therapist to have the skills to handle your situation, counseling can actually be enjoyable! At Hope For The Journey, we try to make the process as easy as it can be. We are here to answer your questions and make sure you know what to expect. Most of all, we want to empower you to take life by the horns.
