Lily Nguyen, LPC-Associate · Therapist in Round Rock

Hi, I'm Lily. You don't have to mask here.

she/her/hers
with Russell Kauitzsch, LPC-S, supervising
I work with adults and couples who are tired of translating themselves for everyone else — neurodiverse folks, people of color, and anyone whose life doesn't fit the usual mold. I'm neurodiverse myself. I'm in Round Rock and online across Texas.

About Lily Nguyen, LPC-Associate

You've felt like an outsider in a world that wasn't made for you.

Maybe you grew up being called lazy and took that in, without knowing that's not what was going on. I love working with neurodiverse folks because I'm neurodiverse too, so I bring insight from the inside, plus experience working with others. Together we explore what it's like to live with neurodiversity and how to navigate a neurotypical world.
I work inside Hope For The Journey's Feel, Heal, Thrive process, which keeps things safe and paced for you. You won't get cookie-cutter treatment from me. I adapt to how your brain works, and I care that your life actually changes for the better. My goal is to work myself out of a job, so you leave with what you need and no longer need therapy.

More about Lily

Authentically you, not defined by your past.

I'm a person of color, second generation, and fluent in Vietnamese. I love working with people who struggle to balance cultures and cultural expectations — exploring how much of those expectations and values are authentically yours versus just what you were taught.
I'm kink-friendly, sex-positive, and poly-informed, and very open to different perspectives, lifestyles, and definitions outside of what the general population considers the norm.

Your first call is with a real person.

Nia, our Client Care Coordinator, will listen to what's going on and help you get started with Lily. No phone tree, no pressure.

Lily's Therapy Approach

Straight talk, real humor, and no decoding required.

Expect direct, honest conversation, plenty of humor, and a therapist who loves gaming. I'll tell you what I'm thinking so you never have to guess. We'll adapt the pacing, structure, and sensory environment to what works for you, and bring in EMDR and Brainspotting when it fits.
