Our founding story, from Traci—Traci Pirri, LCSW-S · Founder & Executive Director
What We’ve Accomplished
Hundreds of families, thousands of sessions.
Each year, we provide thousands of specialized trauma therapy sessions for people who might otherwise go without care. Our work supports children, adults, parents, partners, and families affected by trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, complex PTSD, and dissociation.
425
clients and client groups served in 2025
5,000+
counseling sessions held in 2025
66
completed a financial assessment and qualified for a reduced fee in 2025
Behind every number is a person who found the courage to say, “I need help.”

Affordable access
Affordable access to expert trauma care.
🎓
Training and support
Training and support that strengthens the broader mental health community.
This work matters because healing rarely stops with one person.
When one person heals, families change. Parents respond with more patience. Children grow up with more safety. Relationships become healthier. Workplaces become more compassionate. Communities become stronger.
This is how trauma cycles are interrupted. This is how generational change begins.
What Remains To Be Done
Right now, someone is still searching.
Behind every statistic is a person who finally decided to ask for help. In moments of crisis, this need becomes even more urgent.
01
No qualified therapist
Many people who need trauma therapy cannot find a qualified therapist. They are ready to talk, and no one is there.
02
Care they cannot afford
Many people who need trauma therapy cannot afford care, or cannot access specialized support when they need it most.
03
Clinicians burning out
Many clinicians are overwhelmed, underpaid, and burning out, making it even harder for survivors to find experienced care.
04
Moments of crisis
Families impacted by disasters, including the 2025 Central Texas floods, need timely trauma-informed support so shock, grief, fear, and loss do not become lifelong wounds.
Our Approach
Built on a simple belief.
Healing should not depend on a person’s income…or burnout the healer.
Through client fees, grants, fundraising, training programs, and community partnerships, we connect highly trained clinicians with individuals and families at every income level. This supports a mental health system that is sustainable, accessible and promotes true healing, unlike the current insurance model.

Hope does not happen by accident.
It happens when people decide that trauma will not have the final word. Together, we can help more people heal, thrive, and build healthier futures — one healed human, one family, and one generation at a time.
