Anxiety & Sexual Assault Therapy For Texas
Hi! I’m Bailey.
Since high school, I’ve felt called towards a deeper understanding of people and their motivations. Even though I’m still in training, I have been practicing my listening skills and pouring through books and podcasts on mental health and spirituality topics for years. As a sexual assault survivor myself, everything I have learned has also been applied first-hand. For these reasons, I feel I am called and more than ready to help people heal.Â
I love working with clients who are also interested in learning more about themselves. I help clients to see themselves as “the expert” in their own bodies and experiences.Â
You deserve to be heard and be respected. I’m here so you don’t have to fight on alone.
Why My Clients Choose Me For Anxiety and Depression Help
I’m not stranger to strong feelings and have worked hard to learn what works for me. I’ve learned that painting and movement really help when anxiety starts to burrow in.
My own experiences have given me lots of respect and understanding for what others go through. I offer a non-judgmental and hopeful energy in all my sessions.Â
Benefits of working with a Masters Student Intern at Hope For The Journey include:Â
- Low cost services
- Afternoon & evening online and in-person options in both Austin and Round Rock
- High quality anxiety and depression help
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy servicesÂ
- Backup support from the Hope For The Journey clinical supervisors
I believe it’s possible to be strong and emotionally healthy. You just need some support to harness your strengths, find ways to cope with life, and make choices that you believe in. If you are ready to turn your life in a better direction, I’m here to help.Â
Why Seek Sexual Trauma and PTSD Help?
I get it.Â
It can feel really hard to slow down and focus on yourself. You have people who depend on you. Maybe you’ve never been in counseling. The idea of opening up can be terrifying.
But a difficult childhood, sexual trauma or a history of depression can make you less able to help those you care about. Staying on top of things in your life gets hard when you are feeling…
- Unmotivated
- Confused
- Alone but not sure why
- Unsure of how you fit in
- Misunderstood
- Unhappy with yourself
Why I Love Being a Counselor for Teens
Teenagers are at a really powerful time in their lives. With the right help, they can make changes now that really impact their lives for years to come.Â
I love helping teens to feel understood and important. If you (or your teen) needs someone to listen and help with letting go of the past, I’d love to get them started.
