I help kids, teens, and young adults (particularly men) to feel strong and connected. You can turn your life around with the right tools. Let’s get started today.

Asking for Help Doesn't Mean You Aren't Strong
Why I Love Being an EMDR Trauma Counselor
Growing up wasn’t always easy for me-just like for many of my clients. Living in a rural area, I didn’t have access to much mental health support. It felt like I didn’t know where to turn.
That’s why I strive to be an ally and an advocate for clients who need a little extra help, especially those with a history of neglect or abuse. My training has given me powerful tools to help people heal. I find inspiration in my clients’ willingness to grow.
My favorite thing is seeing someone have a “lightbulb” moment. You know, that moment when something clicks into place. Suddenly something that was hard and felt overwhelming makes sense and feels manageable. I just love that! I feel honored to be a part of that journey.
If you are ready to feel better, I would love to help get you started.
Why I Love Helping Teens and Young Adults
To me, therapy is all about becoming. But sometimes you need to overcome before you can become the person you are meant to be.
When you engage in counseling that works, you should feel:
- empowered
- likable & worthy
- able to move forward
- comfortable in your own skin
- in control of your reactions
- excited for your future
Counseling that is Direct, Personable, Funny, Caring, and Smart...
Who I Help
Over-Achiever
Do you put a lot of pressure on yourself? Is it hard to make mistakes? Is it hard to be yourself because you constantly worry about what someone else might think? I can help you break this pattern & find a better balance.
Autism & ADHD
It can sometimes be overwhelming to feel your feelings. You’re smart & can usually outmaneuver those around you, but you can’t always avoid your feelings. You feel stuck & overwhelmed. I help kids and adults to learn how to get unstuck, understand themselves, and avoid overload from feelings.
Anger Management
Has life made you bitter? Do you feel angry or irritated most of the time? Once you figure out what is underneath your anger, you can learn skills to be in control and get more out of life.
