Sexual Trauma Counseling and Anxiety Help For Texas

Hi! I’m Jen.

I was inspired to become a therapist after seeing how powerful therapy was in my own life. So, if you’re scared and not sure what to expect, I get it.

I help my clients to…

  • Slow down & sort things out
  • Create space for your feelings
  • Put the pieces together
  • Make a difference to the people they love

I help adults of all ages in Austin and Round Rock (or anywhere in Texas with online therapy) to heal from sexual trauma and other hurts.

It’s never too late to start liking the person you see in the mirror!

Why I Love Working With Moms Seeking Anxiety Help

If you’re like me, being a mom is the most important job you have (even when you’re passionate about your day job, too). You pour your heart and soul into caring for the people you love. It’s who you are.

And there’s so much pressure to do everything right. While you know you should prioritize self care, most moms put themselves on the back burner. This causes a backlog of…

  • things you haven’t processed fully
  • emotional build up
  • resentments
  • body ailments
  • ignored dreams

But what if the most important thing you could do for your family is to clear out the past so you can show up authentically?

Depression and PTSD Treatment in Austin, Texas

There’s a lie that is being portrayed in social media and self-help books that we should always be happy. In reality, our lives are most fulfilling when we experience ALL of our emotions.

When you’ve lived through traumas and hard stuff in life, the hurt can start to build up. It can negatively impact your relationships, your work, and your functioning.

I’ve lived enough to know that slowing down enough to do your own work can be scary, but it’s necessary. It creates space for joy and connection that impacts more than just you. It impacts everyone around you.

Are you ready to get started?

Why I Love Working with Young Adults

There’s just something special about this time in your life. It’s like a fork in the road. Will you choose to keep running on auto-pilot, likely to keep living out the same patterns your family has been creating for decades? Or will you choose something different?

If you slow down and work through the past, you can break free of those old cycles. You can choose a different future for yourself, your career, and your family.

If you’re ready to become a cycle breaker, I would be honored to help guide you and keep you moving forward.

All About Trauma Specialist Jennifer Carley, LMSW

My road to becoming a therapist has not been straight.

My life has given me the opportunity to support & celebrate people of all walks of life:

  • I’ve supported close family members who identify as LGBTQIA+ and have neurodiversity.
  • I have 20+ years of experience working in both mental health and fighting for women’s rights in politics.
  • Through own personal counseling, I’ve learned to appreciate how different your life can be when you get good treatment.

All of these life experiences inspire my work with clients. Are you ready to get started?
