LGBTQIA+ Counseling and PTSD Help in Austin, Texas

Hi! I’m Taylor.

I have a heart for those out there who feel different and aren’t sure where they fit in. I feel especially drawn to the beautifully “weird” who have been outcast, abandoned, and abused—the ones who bravely choose their own non-conforming life path. My favorite thing is to be a change agent for you so that we can celebrate the moment when you realize your own dignity, worth, and goodness.

You deserve to see yourself as I see you–as unique, fierce, and deserving. Are you ready to get started?

Let’s get to work.

Why My Clients Choose Me For Sexual Identity and PTSD Help

Silvia Rivera once said, “We have to be visible. We are not ashamed of who we are.” I love that, but also recognize that it’s not always easy to be visible. When you’ve been outcast and misused by the world, there are tangible wounds that steal joy and smother talents.

You may have tried to cover over the pain in the past, but it’s no longer working. Or maybe the cost is getting too high. You deserve to been seen by someone who can not only understand your pain but also help. That’s where I come in. I help men, queer expansive folks, and chronic pain sufferers to:

  • Tolerate (& maybe even relish) joy
  • Maintain healthy boundaries
  • No longer be afraid
  • Feel comfortable being their own messy selves

Running away from yourself is exhausting. Luckily there’s another choice. I’m here to help you find your way.

Why Seek Sexual Assault Help and Depression Counseling?

I get that the world has not been nice to you. A history of sexual abuse as a child or other traumas (even the ones you think “shouldn’t” count) impacts the way we think and move in the world.

It changes:

  • how we show up in relationships
  • what we feel about our bodies
  • the way we handle conflict
  • how we feel about our futures

My job is to help you move through the feelings that are holding you back, even if you’ve been burying them or pretending that they don’t matter.

Once clients have successfully completed therapy, they report shifts in their bodies, emotions, and how they move in the world. Colors look brighter. What felt impossible is now possible. This is what I want for you to experience. Give me a call today and I’ll be ready to help you get started.

Reviews For Taylor Kall, LMSW

“Taylor has the best laugh. She just puts you at ease immediately.”

“Taylor’s passion for therapy eeks out of her. Even though she’s recently to the field, she seems to ‘get it’ in ways that far more experienced therapists often struggle with.”

Therapy With a Playful Energy

Who I Help

Adults Healing from Childhood Sexual Abuse

Sexual abuse causes long term havoc in people bodies, emotions, and relationships. But it’s something that can be healed. I take a somatic approach that helps you heal from the inside out.

Trans & Non-binary Support

You should have the freedom to live authentically and decide who you want to love, but the world can be unkind. You shouldn’t have to explain yourself, especially not to your therapist. As a LGBT trauma therapist, I welcome all parts of you.

Chronic Pain

Trauma can live in the body for years without you knowing it. It shows up like back pain, unexplained illness, autoimmune diseases and more. If you’ve been searching for a cure and are hitting a wall, why not give therapy a try and see if releasing old emotional wounds can help you heal physically?

Why I Love Working With Men

Do you find yourself constantly fleeing from relationships and not able to find a way to stick around? Are you afraid of being exposed and often feel suffocated by others? Therapy is hard to even consider because you can’t stand the idea of seeming weak, complaining, or making something that isn’t serious seem serious.

If this resonates with you, we should talk.

Counseling can help you to:

  • Sit in non-judgment
  • Go at a pace that works for you
  • Be able to have strong male friendships
  • Finally learn how to communicate with your partner
  • Feel a sense of balance without perfectionism
  • Enjoy slowing down, rest, and be the real you

Why I Love Being an LGTBQIA+ Therapist for Adults

Because I really love supporting my own community!

Being queer myself allows me to connect in a really authentic way because, well, I get it! I’ve had to navigate my own process. As a queer therapist, I show up fully as me so you can show up fully as you. Promise. I love working with people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and also folks just trying to figure things out.

Because I have lived this identity myself, I understand why you might be likely to:

-Self harm
-Be unsure about coming out as LGBTQIA+
-Fear you are not enough
-Find yourself in dangerous or toxic relationships
-Struggle with jealousy and competition even within your own community

I am here to help you to truly step into exactly who you really are. I can’t wait to see you thriving in authenticity, feeling grounded and your most whole self. You deserve to decide who you are and who you love.

Let’s connect.
