Depression & Anxiety Therapy Online For Texas

Hi! I’m Ladarian.

Do you feel alone and wonder if anyone truly understands you? I get it. As a black man from the South, I understand how hard it can be to ask for help.

I help clients to find more joy in their lives–where even the people around them start to notice how things have changed.

You deserve to be heard and be respected. I’m here so you don’t have to fight on alone.

Why My Clients Choose Me For BIPOC and Depression Help

Living as a person of color can be hard in Texas. Finding a therapist who gets it and can understand without you having to explain can be next to impossible. Finding cost-effective trauma treatment can be even harder. But that’s exactly what I offer.

Benefits of working with a Masters Student Intern at Hope For The Journey include:

  • Low cost services
  • Afternoon & evening online and in-person options in both Austin and Round Rock
  • High quality anxiety and depression help
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy services
  • Backup support from the Hope For The Journey clinical supervisors

I believe it’s possible to be strong and emotionally healthy. You just need some support to harness your strengths, find ways to cope with life, and make choices that you believe in. If you are ready to turn your life in a better direction, I’m here to help.

Why Seek Anxiety and PTSD Help?

I get it.

It can feel really hard to slow down and focus on yourself. You have people who depend on you. You don’t have friends who have been in counseling.

But a difficult childhood, sexual trauma or a history of depression can make you less able to help those you care about. Staying on top of things in your life gets hard when you are feeling…

  • Unmotivated
  • Confused
  • Alone but not sure why
  • Unsure of how you fit in
  • Misunderstood
  • Unhappy with yourself

Why I Love Being a Counselor for Teens

Teenagers are at a really powerful time in their lives. With the right help, they can make changes now that really impact their lives for years to come.

I love helping teens to feel understood and important. If you (or your teen) needs someone to listen and help with letting go of the past, I’d love to get them started.

Why Start Counseling Now?

The first time I knew I wanted to be a therapist was when a family member sought me out to let me know he was gay and didn’t know how to come out to the rest of the family.

He chose me. I felt surprised at first and then realized I wanted to and could actually help. This opened my eyes up to how great it feels to listen and help people realize they have more to gain in this life.
