Specialized Trauma Counseling for Texas

 Hi! I’m Presley.

People find themselves in my office when they want to grow in confidence, move through their grief, and find themselves. If you’ve struggled with things such as…
  • Sexuality and gender identity
  • ADHD and Neurodivergence
  • Grief
  • Hormone and mood imbalances
  • Addiction
I would love to join you in your healing journey.

I help teens and adults of all ages to grow confident in who they are and take charge of creating a life they adore.

EMDR Trained | Grief Specialist

Does it feel harder and harder to hold it together for the people around you? Is your grief getting in the way of everyday life? Did you expect it to have lightened by now?

You may look okay to the rest of the world, but inside, you know you are hurting. What if pausing to take care of yourself would mean that your family, your business, and your loved ones would actually be better off? What if getting a little support with your grief could help you let go of the shame and guilt?

Resolving grief from issues like pregnancy, postpartum, eating disorders, and more can lead to…

  • Feeling closer to those around you

  • Authenticity

  • Freedom from all the “shoulds”

  • Decreased anger and irritability

  • Improved sleep & energy

You deserve to feel better, but your loved ones depend on it. If you’re ready to get started, I would love to help you find your way.

Why Seek Trauma and Depression Help?

Often, we don’t recognize we’re in a trauma until we’re out of it. Even then, it can be hard to admit how hard it was.

If your partner cheats, or you’ve been “in the closet” for years, or you’ve struggled with perfectionism, you might have found ways to look okay on the outside but still be really struggling.

When you start to admit that there was a problem, you are showing strength. And it’s a beginning that can lead to more…

  • Joy
  • Connection
  • Healing
  • Balance
  • Health and wellness

Why I Love Working with Women of All Ages

You aren’t looking for someone to tell you what to do. In many ways, YOU are the person people to to for advice.

So therapy needs, instead, to be a place where you can let go of all your responsibilities and obligations. A place where I can hold space for you to explore, heal, and learn to listen to yourself.

Are you ready to get started?

Trauma Specialist Presley Black, LPC-Associate

I’m what you might call a quiet extrovert. I used to be quite introverted, but I realized that if I spent time in groups, I gained energy from being with people, so now I do a lot of social activities.

I tend to be a little…well… nerdy. 🤣 I love everything: board games and my two cats, Kitty and Little Kitty. (But don’t judge me for their names. They came that way.) I’m into reading and video games. Mostly, I like finding things that bring me joy. So, whatever your interests, please know that I will support you in exploring what brings you joy, too. If this sounds like what you are looking for, grab a spot on my schedule today!
